SYRACUSE -- After starting out slow in Wednesday's exhibition opener vs. Southern New Hampshire, Syracuse got away from the 2-3 zone defense, and executed a full-court press. It led to a 22-0 run in the first half, en route to a big 84-54 win inside the Carrier Dome.

Tyus Battle led the way offensively scoring a game-high 20 points vs SNHU. Pascal Chukwu and Bourama Sidibe combined for 16 blocks Wednesday night.

USF-transfer, Geno Thorpe, didn't play Wednesday night, but head coach Jim Boeheim told the media after the game, Thorpe could play in next week's exhibition finale.

SU will host Southern Connecticut State Monday at 7 p.m.
