State Police are looking into what they're calling a suspicious death at the Crest Inn and Suites in Wilton, and an investigation seems to be ramping up Friday.

Forensic and K-9 units are on scene at the motel, which is owned by the same Hussain family that owns Prestige Limo. That's the limousine company involved in Saturday's crash that killed 20 people in Schoharie.

A manager on-site tells Spectrum News that the owners have nearly no involvement with the property. Police have said that, at this time, the investigation is not connected to the property or its owners in any way.

The manager says a guest passed away overnight, but there's been no word from the state police about a cause. Troopers are not releasing any additional information, and there's no word yet on the victim's identity.
