ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police are investigating a double homicide in the city.

Police say the two men were shot around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Wilkins Street and were driven by a private vehicle to Rochester General Hospital. One man was pronounced dead, the other went into emergency surgery, but later died. Officials later identified the victims as 24-year-old Markwaun Williams and 26-year-old Justin Siler; both of Rochester.

Then at around 8 p.m. Thursday, two other people were shot on Genesee Street near Hawley.

Police say a 22-year-old man was driven from the scene to Strong Memorial Hospital. He's said to be in critical, but stable condition.

The other victim, a 20-year-old man is expected to be OK.

In another case, a 17-year-old man was shot at least once in the lower body on Weeger Street. He was taken to URMC with what police call non-life threatening injuries.

Rochester police say no one has been arrested in any of the shootings.
