A local high school football game turned violent with multiple fights broke out.
Rochester police arrested three people on charges of disorderly conduct at the East High School and Joseph C. Wilson High School game.
Officials were called to Marina Auto Stadium Saturday after a fight broke out midway through the second quarter.
The game was then suspended.
Police say around 20 to 50 people were involved, posing a significant safety threat.
"What we try to do is do things systematically and safely,” said Rochester Police Lieutenant Samuel Lucyshyn. “So many times it involves an organization phase, deployment phase and then a breakdown phase."
Police say a 17-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital with a minor cut to his upper body.
They believe he got that injury at the stadium.
