ROCHESTER N.Y. -- The man who died in a motorcycle crash on Lake Avenue was outspoken about safety and his fellow bikers, said friends and family of Randal “Remy Griff” Griffin.

At a vigil back in May, he movingly spoke about safety in memory of a young motorcyclist whose life was cut short.

His mother, Cheryl Lattimore said, “Obviously, he’s touched a lot of people and it’s heartwarming to know that you’re life has touched somebody else’s life," said Cheryl Lattimore, his mother.

"He loved speed ever since he was born. He always rode vehicles – four wheelers, dirt bikes, mini bikes, those sorts of things," said Lindsay Griffin III, his father.

Griffin was 31 years old.
