A motorcyclist is dead after an accident in Charlotte Wednesday evening.
Police say just before 7 p.m., a motorcycle traveling northbound on Lake Avenue struck a van parked along the curb.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Rochester man, was thrown about 10 feet from his bike and killed.
They are still working to notify the motorcyclist’s next of kin.
Police are also investigating whether the van was parked legally and if any charges would come of that.
