A person of interest in the 1997 disappearance of Lori Ceci Bova has died.

Her husband at the time, Tyrone Bova, was on a cross-country trip with his family when they got into a crash driving through Utah, according to Lakewood-Busti Police.

Tyrone, his current wife Holly Jo Bova and their 11-year-old son Haden Bova all died in the crash.

Their 17-year-old son, Tyler, is in critical condition.

Tyrone Bova, now 47 years old, was the last person to see Lori before she went missing back on June 7th, 1997.

He told investigators the couple had an argument after leaving the Red Lobster in Lakewood that night and she left to go for a walk around 2 a.m. She has not been seen since.

No arrests have been made, and the Lakewood-Busti Police say the case remains open.
