This year's top three graduating seniors at Palmyra-Macedon have found success in the classroom, on the court and on the field.

"To watch these three both do it in the classroom and achieve such remarkable results, but also to do it in their sporting competitions. It's really incredible," said Pal-Mac Principal Andrew Wahl.

The experience was extra special for Wahl as his son Alex was among those earning top honors.

"The Co-Salutatorian, Liv Keller and I kinda had a battle throughout their whole high school career but it's that competitive edge I have," said Co-Salutatorian Alex Wahl.

And for anyone who knows Alex Wahl and Olivia Keller, who both earned all conference honors for this past soccer season, sharing the title of Salutatorian seems like the story book ending.

"We are like best friends, we always have been, we've grown up together so it's been fun, it's a friendly competition. We were both male and female athletes of the year. It's just been so much fun sharing that experience with someone," said Keller.

"I think it was really exciting for both of them to know that it did end up this way," said the older Wahl.

Valedictorian Carolyn Graham also found success on the tennis court, picking up her 100th win and claiming the sectional title this fall. Her advice for other student-athletes? Don't be afraid to ask for help.

"We have such a great community here. I love all of my coaches, all of my teachers, they're all super helpful, all of my other friends. So if you get all the help you can, from as many people, then it's easy," said Graham.

Carolyn heads to Roberts Wesleyan in the fall, while Olivia and Alex will both study Biology in the honors program at St. John Fisher.
