President Trump continues his claims the FBI planted a spy in his 2016 campaign.

Former campaign aide and Western New York political consultant Michael Caputo says there were actually two people who tried to integrate themselves into the campaign.

Caputo tells Fox News he was approached in May 2016 by an intermediary of an unnamed government official, looking to hand off Hillary Clinton-related emails.

He says the intermediary was a friend but says he didn’t want the emails, thinking they might be classified documents.

Caputo also says he didn’t want to bring the information to the Trump campaign for fear of looking “kooky," though he did recently hand them off to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigative team.

“I gave this information to the Senate Intelligence Committee two weeks ago and I gave it to the Mueller team and they never reached out to the intermediary to check it out,” Caputo told Fox News. “They weren’t interested. They didn’t even seem to be taking notes.”

Caputo denies any knowledge of collusion between Russia and the Trump Campaign.
