BRIGHTON, N.Y. -- A hand-written note taped to the door of Golden Dynasty in Brighton promises the Chinese restaurant, shuttered until it can resolve health problems, will open soon.

The South Clinton Avenue restaurant was ordered closed, according to the Monroe County Health Department, after a sewage backup and also because of excessive mouse droppings.

The sign states the restaurant was closed due to a plumbing remodel.

A health department spokesperson said the restaurant will be allowed to re-open when conditions pass inspection.
