BRISTOL, N.Y. -- It's that time of year again; Bristol Mountain is back open for the season!

The snowmaking team got to work Friday morning in anticipation of opening weekend.

If it feels a little sooner than usual, that's because it is — Saturday marked the park's earliest opening day since 1991.

Sunset Trail and Sunset Lift are open Saturday until 4 p.m. for experienced skiers and snowboarders only.

The two will be open again Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Opening weekend pricing is $39 per person.
