SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: It's the beginning of remembrance week at Syracuse University for the lives lost in the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing.

The flight was headed for New York City on December 21, 1988, when the plane was brought down in a terrorist attack over Lockerbie, Scotland.

In all, 270 people were killed, including 35 students who were studying abroad through Syracuse University and 11 residents of Lockerbie.

A total of 35 remembrance scholars were chosen again this year, in honor of those students who died.

In rememberance of the victims, there was also a replica of the plane's seating chart made on campus, with the students' assigned seat numbers.

Different events are planned throughout remembrance week, which goes through Saturday, October 28.
