ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- An Eastman School of Music student is living in concert with some different housemates than usual.

Yunjung Lee, a student and violinist from South Korea, is the first artist-in-residence to live at Valley Manor Senior Living Services.

Management at Valley Manor says they were looking to host a college student to interact with their residents and perform music regularly.

Organizers say Lee will perform at Valley Manor once a month and at special occasions. She also eats meals and connects with the residents.

Lee says she's played at hospitals and senior homes before so this opportunity seemed like a natural fit.

"I love talking with older people and playing for seniors and patients in hospitals," she said. "I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to join the program."

Lee has been living at Valley Manor for about a month and a half.
