ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Section V football championship games are moving from the Rhinos' stadium in Rochester to SUNY Brockport and Alfred University.

Scott Barker, football chairperson for the high school athletic association, says the cost to play at Capelli Sport Stadium, the size of the locker rooms, and finding parking were significant factors that led to the Section V Executive Committee to make the call.

"At Brockport and Alfred which is where we are going for championship weekend, they have facilities that are built to host big-time, large football games, and that was a big drawing point to us also when we started to look at the financial piece of it," Barker said.

Barker added if the city is able to compete with the prices Brockport and Alfred are charging, Section V would consider moving the tournament back to Rochester.
