HOLLEY, N.Y. -- Police are investigating how Heather Roselli, a developmentally disabled woman who lived at a group home in Webster, sustained injuries serious enough to lead to her death.

In Orleans County, Roselli's family says they haven't been told much about how she died.

Since the age of 21, Roselli, who had learning disabilities, ADHD and other issues, had lived in group homes. On Sunday, the Parks family got a call from the Pierce Street facility where she lived, where father Keith Parks learned she was restrained.

"They said they had a take-down situation, because she had a behavior, and that she's become unresponsive," Keith said.

CPR was administered, and Heather was taken to a Rochester hospital, where the Parks said they saw her face bruised, with skin missing from her feet and cheeks. Her parents decided to take Heather off life support. Heather was 35.

Investigators so far aren't saying much about what happened inside the home.  The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, which oversees the group home, released a statement confirming two employees involved have been fired and a third placed on administrative leave.

Roselli's family wants criminal charges filed against those who they feel are responsible for her death.
