A mother and boyfriend are facing charges after deputies say the boyfriend injured a11-month-old baby -- and the mother did nothing about it.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Kaitlyn Brazo allowed her live-in boyfriend Brandon Morris to babysit her child.
Authorities say Morris physically injured the baby' on two separate occasions to the point of bleeding and scaring.
They say Brazo had knowledge of the injuries and failed to report it to police or seek medical attention.
Morris was arrested on May 12 on assault charges.
Brazo has been arraigned and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
An order of protection was issued to protect the child.
