ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The ReadyRosie app, designed for parents to use with children five years of age and under, is now ready for families in the Rochester City School District. Registered parents receive daily videos and activities to complete with their young children.

"This started, 'Wow, this would be really nice if parents were able to get this on their phone' but, when we really look at the use, and what's possible with it, it's one of the ways that we can engage the entire community around early learning for our children," said Jackie Campbell, ROC the Future Alliance director.

Mayor Lovely Warren and the ROC the Future Alliance were on hand Thursday to introduce the early education software.
