ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester-based UR Medicine is continuing to expand its regional network of hospitals. The health care provider announced Tuesday that two hospitals in the southern tier are joining the group.

Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, Allegany County and Noyes Health in Livingston County are now officially affiliated with UR Medicine. The addition brings to five the number of hospitals in the network.

Jones Memorial and Noyes hospitals join Strong Memorial and Highland in Rochester and Thompson Health in Canandaigua.

University of Rochester President Joel Seligman says the affiliation ensures that these hospitals will remain the cornerstone of local health care and an economic anchor for their communities.
