ROCHESTER, N.Y. — With talk of a possible run for governor, the former mayor of Syracuse was in Rochester.

Stephanie Miner discussed state economics at the Strathallen Hotel.

Miner addressed several topics including photonics in Rochester and the state's economic future.

Miner did talk about a potential run for governor, saying a campaign is not out of the question, but her main focus was on government needing to do more for people.

"Over and over again, from Me Too to citizen activism to the Parkland students, you're seeing people are leading these revolutions and elected officials are running to catch up," Miner said.

Miner offered no timetable for a decision on her future.
