Syracuse won Game 3 of their AHL North Division semifinal series, 6-3, ending the Amerks season with a 3-0 sweep.

The Amerks allowed 18 goals in the three games, uncharactaristic of the team and of goalie Linus Ullmark.

An impressive mid-week crowd saw the Amerks take a 1-0 lead on a goal by Zach Redmond. The Crunch then tied the game with under a minute to play in the opening stanza.

The second period saw Justin Bailey give the Amerks the lead again before Syracuse scored the next four.

Danny O'Regan scored in the third to cut the lead to 5-3 before the Crunch got an empty-netter.

It was the first Calder Cup playoff appearance for the Amerks in four seasons.
