Wheatland-Chili is becoming a girls soccer dynasty, heading to their fourth straight NYS semifinal appearance.

The Wildcats won the last two NYS Class D titles and then graduated twins Abby and Hannah Callaghan to the University of Buffalo soccer team.

Instead of a rebuilding year, the Wildcats reloaded behind senior keeper Janae Hooker and high-scoring sophomore Niyah Rosado and a strong, experienced midfield group.

Wheatland-Chili, and coach Gary Ward who is Section 5's all-time winningest coach, moved up to Class C this season. They'll face Little Falls in the State Semis Saturday evening.

The Class C State finals have been moved to Cortland High School at 3pm Sunday.
