Niyah Rosado's second half goal gave Wheatland-Chili a 1-0 victory over Marion in the Class C girls soccer playdown.

Janae Hooker earned the shutout in goal for the Wildcats who have won four straight Sectional titles and played in States the last three years, winning twice.

Rosado, just a sophomore, scored her 30th goal of the season off an assist from seventh-grader Emily Parker.

The Black Knights entered the game unbeaten and ranked fourth in the State in Class C.

Wheatland-Chii faces Maple Grove in the Far West Regional at Webster Thomas at 2:30. The winner advances to the NYS Semifinals in Cortland next Saturday.
