Eastridge opened up their new baseball diamond with synthetic turf, and battled Batavia before falling 11-7.

The Lancers grabbed a 3-1 in the second on a two-run double by John Montana. In the top of the third, Jacob Russo took a ball the other way for the first home run at the new park.

Eastridge took a 4-3 lead into the fifth and despite a constant rain, the game was completed, even with 11 runs in the final two innings.
