Rochester's Section 5 and club swimming teams continue to provide top level swimmers to the collegiate level.

That has been enhanced by the Victor Swim Club, who have won four straight Niagara short course titles and a long course title as well.

Among the current swimmers and alumni, Kay Sargent, who recently transferred from Florida to North Carolina State, University of Cincinnati signee Sydney St. Rose-Finear and two-time New York State Champion Megan Deuel, a sophomore at Pittsford.

St. Rose-Finear attends Wheatland-Chili High School, one of a small number of Division I swimmers out of the Genesee Region League.

Victor's team, under the direction of Brett Leader, won their fourth short course title this past weekend at Webster Aquatic Center.
