The Webster community rallied together Wednesday morning to help a local teen usher in his 15th birthday.

Owen Knight has a long list of health issues, including having a pacemaker and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. In support of his strength, the Webster Police Department organized a small birthday parade leading from the station to Webster Thomas High School at 10:30 a.m. But that's not all — Knight loves getting mail and, with the help of social media, loved ones were also able to get people to mail in birthday cards.

His aunt, Amy VanWinkle says the community support has been incredible.

"It's nice just to see the positive in people. People — doesn't matter where they're from, how much money they have, what religion they are, whether they're Democrat or Republican — it's just people being nice and doing something for someone who deserves a really good birthday," said VanWinkle.

Owen's sister, Amber tells us this could be his last birthday.
