Several members of the United States Ski and Snowboard Freestyle team were on hand at Bristol Mountain Monday for the unveiling of a new freestyle aerial jump training and competition center.

The High Point Terrain Park will allow freestyle skiers and snowboarders to train even before the snow arrives. Chris Lillis, who competed in last winter's Olympics in South Korea, says the new training site is key for free-stylists in our area.

"I'm really excited, because people can train where they live, they can spend time with their family, they can continue their normal childhood and you don't have to make that sacrifice as a young skier and I think that's going to be really important," Lillis said.

High Point Park also includes features for the more novice skier, including smaller jumps, boxes and rails.
