ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Polls are now closed across the state after communities voted on school budgets and other critical issues.

More than two dozen local districts held votes on Tuesday.

The Rochester City School District School Board has adopted a nearly $950 million dollar budget for the 2018-19 school year.

The budget is nearly $200 million more than the current school year. The adopted budget next heads for a joint hearing of the board and city council.
