Buckshot peppered a Rush home on Sunday after a hunter missed his shot of a deer.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the home on W. Rush Road was hit by two shotgun rounds. Homeowner, Sandra Sluberski says she was in the backyard feeding her chickens at the time.

"The first one I didn't think much of because yesterday was the opening day of hunting season," said Sluberski. "The second came about 10 seconds later and immediately there was a whirring whizzing sound going past my left ear then a sharp clip clop sound hitting the house."

No one was hurt.

Deputies have yet to determine if charges will be filed against the hunter.
