ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police announced two arrests in connection to a September 14 homicide on Lyell Avenue.

Tremaine Coley, 38 of Rochester is charged with second degree murder, and first degree robbery. Delvern Duran, also 38 of Rochester, was arrested for first degree robbery.

Police say Coley and Duran were responsible for the death of Tasmere Kenard, a 23-year-old man who was expecting his first child.

Coley was taken into custody without incident Thursday. He will be arraigned in Rochester City Court at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Duran was taken into custody the day after the homicide, and has remained in the Monroe County Jail.

Police say additional charges may be considered by the grand jury against both Duran and Coley.
