ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police are investigating a pair of shootings that sent two men to the hospital.
The first happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday in the area of Weld and North Streets.
Police say a 20-year-old man was shot at least once in the lower body. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
About an hour later, officers were called to Avenue D for a shooting. A 37-year-old from East Rochester was shot multiple times.
He was also taken to the hospital where he is expected to survive.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
