Two brothers in Wyoming County were attacked in their own home by a man with knives.
That man, identified by authorities as Michael Finch of Florida, is now facing murder charges.
Officials say Finch entered the home on West Middlebury Road Monday afternoon.
Both brothers were attacked in upstairs bedrooms, but were able to fight off the intruder.
Deputies say Finch ran into the nearby woods and was found a few hours later.
He's being held in county jail without bail. He's also charged with attempted robbery, assault and burglary.
Deputies say was convicted of multiple felonies in Florida.
The brothers were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and are recovering from surgeries Tuesday.
