CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver that they say intentionally hit a bicyclist this weekend.
Police say it happened on Brickyard Road in Canandaigua just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to troopers, the driver took off after hitting the bicyclist.
The victim was taken to Thompson Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police describe the suspect's vehicle as a light grey 4-door sedan with possible red paint transfer and rear end damage.
Troopers say the vehicle could be an older Pontiac.
There may also be a yellow sticker on the trunk.
