BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- A town of Sweden man faces charges which include assault, strangulation and criminal mischief after deputies said a domestic dispute turned violent, and three people were injured.

Around 10 a.m., deputies responded to Redman Road, about 1/2 mile outside of the village of Brockport. Once there, they said 38-year-old Curtis Howden was inside and refused to come out, following a verbal fight with a woman he knew which turned physical.
