ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Alex and Colin Rideout have now joined their mother Laura Rideout in filing a notice of appeal for their murder and tampering convictions.

Laura and Colin were convicted in the strangulation death of her estranged husband, Craig.

A judge sentenced them to 25 years to life and one and a third to four years for evidence tampering.

Laura was also sentenced to 15 years for burglary.

Alex was sentenced on two counts, with each sentence running 1 and 1/3 to four years consecutively. That's a total sentence of two and two-thirds to eight years.

Colin filed his paperwork with the Monroe County Clerk's office on Tuesday.

Alex's was submitted on Thursday.

Laura Rideout notified the court on Monday.

So far, there is no word on what grounds they plan to appeal the convictions.
