ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The U.S. Marshals Service announced the arrest of Calvin Hobby, a murder suspect from California, at Rochester General Hospital on Wednesday.

He was wanted on connection of killing an Indiana man in San Diego last June.

The U.S. Marshals' Regional Fugitive Task Force in Rochester believed he had family in the area and may be living here.

A week of following leads led them to the arrest without incident.

Hobby is currently in the Monroe County Jail awaiting extradition.
