ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A man suffered serious injuries after police say he was stabbed on Rochester's east side Monday morning.

Police were called to North Goodman Street, near Ripley Street, around 10:30 a.m.

When they got there, officers say they found a man with a stab wound to the upper body.

He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police are calling non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victim had some kind of dispute with someone before this all happened, but details are still limited.

Police do say a suspect is in custody and there is no danger to the public at this time.
