Chad Davis was introduced as the new women's hockey coach at RIT.

After seven seasons at Division III Adrian College in Michigan, Davis takes over for Scott McDonald, who resigned in July after 12 seasons.

The coaching position at RIT is endowed by Bruce B. Bates, who took part in the announcement, presenting Davis with an RIT jersey.

Davis is charged with rebuilding a team that has won just 11 games the last two seasons.

At Adrian, Davis led the Bulldogs to three straight conference titles, winning 150 games and earning a spot in last season's National Championship Game.
