RIT rallied from eight goals down in the fourth quarter but fell 19-18 to Wesleyan in the NCAA Division III men's lacrosse semifinals.

Kyle Killen scored five goals and Ryan Tandy four while Ryan Barnable dished out six assists for the Tigers (19-1).

The Cardinals took an 11-5 lead at halftime, the last goal coming on RIT's trademark hidden ball trick. The Tigers came out and got the first five goals of the third quarter to cut the lead to 11-9.

Early in the fourth, Wesleyan scored the first six goals for a 17-9 lead before RIT scored eight of the next nine goals to cut the lead to 18-17 with 2:23 to play.

But Harry Stanton, who scores six goals for the Cardinals, made it a two-goal game with 1:08 left.

RIT got one back with 4.2 seconds to go and then got the ball back on a faceoff violation, the only infraction against Wesleyan then entire game.

But the pass to front of the crease was knocked down for the final score.

It marks the sixth time in eight seasons RIT has played in the National Semifinal, twice they have advanced to the final.
