Even before Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement from the Supreme Court, some groups were focused on making the state senate more pro-choice.

This spring, Eleanor's Legacy launched the Baker Project, an effort to get more pro-choice women elected to the chamber.

They're now endorsing 11 candidates- and seeing abortion become a major issue in this year's campaigns thanks to the changes at the Supreme COurt.
