Governor Andrew Cuomo on Friday earned the endorsement of Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish. You might be thinking: that is random. Last year, Governor Cuomo attended and spoke at the singer’s AIDS Foundation gala. But Elton John himself is not an American citizen, much less a New York resident, and can't actually vote in the race for governor.
