BRIGHTON, N.Y. — The former Mario's restaurant building in Brighton could soon be coming down.

Wednesday night, the Brighton Town Board approved applications by the developers to demolish three buildings — all part of the Daniele family's new plans for a Whole Foods supermarket.

The demo includes the restaurant, former bowling alley next door, and another former restaurant building.

The two applications were approved unanimously.

A third application for preliminary site plan approval for the five buildings in the new complex was tabled, for now.
