HENRIETTA, N.Y. — It's been more than five months since we first got word that Swedish Furniture chain, IKEA was eyeing Henrietta for a possible expansion. Since then, not much news, until now.

Henrietta Town Supervisor Stephen Schultz says Henrietta remains in the running for expansion, but he doesn't think anything will happen this year.

Schultz says the company is looking at the former Macy's store at Marketplace Mall as a possible location.

"Unfortunately I'm not familiar with their process for expansion, but they haven't told us, so again, we haven't gotten anything that says we're not coming your way," Schultz said.
