ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Amazon has begun the hiring process for its first ever distribution center in the Rochester region. 

Currently, the online retailer has three management positions listed on its website. They are for shift and area managers. 

Those managers will help run the fulfillment center slated for Clay Road, just south of Jefferson Road, in Henrietta. 

Very few details have been announced regarding a time frame of when the faculty will be up and running, and how many jobs will be created, but county officials say that number will be "significant."

The 70,000+ square foot facility will be the company's third distribution center in New York state.
