Lake snow will lift through the Buffalo metro for the morning commute so plan of extra time with a quick couple of inches of accumulation. Any lake snow will lift into the Northtowns and fall apart to flurries by midday. It will be brisk and chilly with highs in the low to mid 30s. Tonight will be partly cloudy with only a few minor lake snow showers. Lows will range from the mid teens to mid 20s. Most of tomorrow will be fairly quiet and seasonable with some sun and highs in the mid to upper 30s.
A clipper system will pass overhead tomorrow night with passing snow showers and a reinforcing shot of cold for Sunday. Highs on Sunday will only be in the upper 20s. Another round of lake snow will develop by mid to late afternoon Sunday.
A more potent clipper system will arrive Monday night into Tuesday with widespread snow showers and an arctic blast to follow. We may struggle to get out of the teens on Wednesday.
