Another former Buffalo Bison is headed to Cooperstown.

Jim Thome is set to be the 21st Bisons alum to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

While the slugger didn't appear in any regular season games for the Herd, he played a role in their 1998 postseason run.

Thome appeared in the first two games of the Governor's Cup Finals, helping the Herd jump out to a two-game lead in the series.

The Bisons would go on to win the series in five games, their fifth Governor's Cup Championship.

Former Bisons make up more than six percent of the members of the Hall.

Thome will join Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero and Trevor Hoffman as 2018's inductees when they enter the hall on July 29th.
