A Cheektowaga church is struggling to deliver food donations after parts of its mobile food pantry were stolen.

Resurrection Life Fellowship said its truck's catalytic converters were taken November 30.

The truck is used three to five times a week to pick up thousands of pounds of donated food.

That food is taken to five low-income senior facilities.

About a thousand families rely on the service.

Since the parts were stolen, volunteers have been using pick-up trucks and vans to get the job done.

Resurrection Life is still in need of donations for the holiday season. Anyone who wants to help can drop off non-perishable food items at the church, located at 2145 Old Union Road
