Search continues for Sodus mother and her 14-month-old son

Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help locating Selena Hidalgo-Calderon, 18, and her 14-month-old son Owen Hidalgo-Calderon.

They were last seen on May 16 in Sodus.

The missing mother has been employed as a migrant worker.

Wayne County sheriff's deputies along with state police and other officials spent Wednesday focusing on an apple orchard where Selena Hidalgo-Calderon was reportedly last seen.

Selena's mother says the 18-year-old came to this country in 2016. The family is seeking asylum and has a scheduled court date next month for an immigration status check.
