League sources have confirmed the Indianapolis Colts are requesting permission to talk with Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier about their head coach position, as first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

This comes just days after Josh McDaniels announced he was going to stay with the New England Patriots after it appeared he was going to join the Colts.

According to Rappaport, Colts’ owner Jim Irsay is a fan of Fraziers and could “restore normalcy” to the team following a rocky season.

Frazier was with the Colts back in 2005 and 2006 and joined the Bills just last season.

There are also several reports that former Bills quarterback and current Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich will be considered.
