Buffalo Common Council President and True Bethel Baptist Church pastor Darius Pridgen is in Israel for a religious conference.

He says depending on where he is, he's seen mixed reaction to President Trump's announcement to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

In Jerusalem, he says it's been much more positive, while in Tel Aviv, it's anything but.

"When I was in Jerusalem, people have been applauding the president. I've been in Tel Aviv twice now, and there has not been any movement or any response from the people here in a positive nature," said Pridgen.

Pridgen says he's read in some papers that those against the move are calling for "three days of rage" as a response, but he says he hasn't seen any violence firsthand yet.
