A young woman and her boyfriend could each face a lifetime prison sentence in the death of the girl's father.

The DA's Office says 17-year-old Alexandria Heath and 19-year-old Romaine Jirdon were arraigned in city court Sunday.

They're charged with second-degree murder of the death of the girl's father, 58-year-old Thomas Heath.

The DA says around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Heath and Jirdon beat and stabbed the father inside their home on West Ferry Street in Buffalo.

They say the two pleaded not guilty and were remanded without bail.

Heath and Jirdon are due back in court on Wednesday.
